Where Dreams Are Carved in Stone

At Dream Stone UK our dedicated team of designers is committed to guiding you through every stage of the design process.

We believe there's no one-size-fits-all formula — each project, whether large or small, is thoughtfully tailored to reflect your unique style and specific needs.

From the initial consultation to design, supply, and installation, we offer a comprehensive service designed to meet every requirement with precision and care.

Start Your Project

Our Process

01

Consultation

  • Ideally, we begin by deciding on the materials, colours, and overall style (modern, traditional, etc.), as well as how you’d like the project to function for your needs.
  • Next, we establish a realistic budget to guide your choices for both materials and professional services, with the goal of approving the final design and cost.
  • Finally, we set a date for the template and agree on an approximate fitting date..

02

Template

We use digital laser technology or traditional methods to create a precise replica of your kitchen units, including all necessary cut-outs for sinks and hobs, overhangs, and other specific details, to ensure your worktop fits perfectly.

This template is then sent to the factory's fabrication department, where the stone is cut using precision machinery, polished, and finished to match the template's exact specifications before being returned to your home for installation.

This will be the best moment to let them know if you decide to change or add anything.

03

Fabrication

We start cutting — the real fun begins

When your project is fabricated, a digital template guides a precision cutting process where the material is cut to size, followed by edge polishing and machining on CNC machines.

The pieces are then subjected to a rigorous quality check against the templating plans before edge protection is applied and the worktop is prepared for transport to the installation site, ensuring a flawless final fit.

04

Fitting

The wait is over — let’s enjoy the view.

When we come fitting, we need clear access into the installation location. We perform a final dry-fit to ensure accuracy, then secure it in place using adhesives and caulk. The process involves checking the fit, aligning seams with a specially pigmented epoxy, clamping the pieces together, cleaning excess material and securing everything.

05

Final steps

Experience shows that the details make all the difference. Once everything is complete, we take a few final steps:

  • Project quality check – final review and sign-off.
  • Testimonial – always appreciated, though optional.
  • After-care & maintenance – ongoing advice and answers to any questions

Steel Grey granite outdoor kitchen worktop

Steel Grey granite is a classic. It's durable, versatile igneous rock, characterized by its medium to dark grey base with metallic flecks and is quarried in India. It is an excellent choice for both interior and exterior applications, such as worktops, floors, and cladding, due to its resistance to heat, scratches, water, and stains. Steel Grey is a low-maintenance, hard-wearing stone that complements various design styles, from modern to traditional, and is available in finishes like polished, honed, and leathered to suit different needs

Brown Emperador is available in both Dark and Light variations, sourced primarily from Spain. It's a truly elegant stone—I even chose it for my own dining room table. Like most natural stones, it requires sealing to protect against staining, but with proper care, it retains its timeless beauty Brown Emperador is a versatile choice for stairs, walls, and feature elements. Its unique patterns bring a sense of sophistication and create spaces that feel truly out of this world
